And he said to him: Man of God: Thus saith the king: Make haste and come down.
Gesù rispose, e gli disse: Avanti che Filippo ti chiamasse, quando tu eri sotto il fico, io ti vedeva.
Jesus answered him, "Before Philip called you, while you were under the fig tree, I saw you."
2 Egli venne di notte da Gesù, e gli disse: «Rabbì, noi sappiamo che tu sei un dottore venuto da Dio; perché nessuno può fare questi miracoli che tu fai, se Dio non è con lui.
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
20 Mentre però stava pensando a queste cose, ecco che gli apparve in sogno un angelo del Signore e gli disse: «Giuseppe, figlio di Davide, non temere di prendere con te Maria, tua sposa, perché quel che è generato in lei viene dallo Spirito Santo.
[The] angel of [the] Lord appeared to him according to dream, saying: Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary, your woman/wife home, for that which has been begotten in her is out of [ek] holy spirit.
50 Gesù rispose, e gli disse: Perciocchè io ti ho detto ch’io ti vedeva sotto il fico, tu credi; tu vedrai cose maggiori di queste.
51 Jesus answered and said to him: Do you believe, be cause I said to you, I saw you under the fig-tree? You shall see greater things than these.
